【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoversolventdistillationunits,withamaximumcapacityof60gallons(227l),usedforrecyclingflammableorcombustibleliquidsasindicatedintheinstructionmanualprovidedwitheachunit.1.2Theserequirementscoversolventdistillationunitswhichutilizeelectricity,steam,orheatedliquidstodistillsolvents.1.3TheseunitsareintendedforinstallationanduseinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70,theFlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,NFPA30,theStandardforSprayApplicationUsingFlammableorCombustibleMaterials,NFPA33,theUniformFireCode,NFPA1,andtheInternationalFireCode,IFC.1.4SolventdistillationunitsinvestigatedforuseinlaboratoriesareonlyintendedforinstallationinfacilitiesthatcomplywithrequirementsoftheStandardforFireProtectionforLaboratoriesUsingChemicals,NFPA45.1.5SolventdistillationunitsinvestigatedforuseincommercialdrycleaningplantsareintendedforinstallationinaccordancewithrequirementsoftheStandardforDrycleaningPlants,NFPA32.1.6Requirementsadditionaltothosespecifiedinthisstandardarenecessaryasfollows:a)Electricallypoweredsteamgeneratingunitshavinganelectricalinputpowerratingofmorethan15kWpersteamgeneratingvesselshallalsocomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsintheStandardforHeating,WaterSupply,andPowerBoilers-Electric,UL834;b)UnitsintendedforuseindrycleaningestablishmentsshallalsocomplywithapplicablerequirementsoftheStandardforDrycleaningPlants,NFPA32;c)Unitsintendedforuseinlaboratoryworkareasshallalsocomplywithapplicablerequirementsofthefollowingstandards:1)StandardforMedicalandDentalEquipment,UL544,2)StandardforLaboratoryEquipment,UL1262,3)StandardforMedicalElectricalEquipment,Part1:GeneralRequirementsforSafety,UL2601-1,4)StandardforElectricalEquipmentforLaboratoryUse,Part1:GeneralRequirements,UL3101-1,5)IEC61010-1,SafetyRequirementsforElectricalEquipmentforMeasurement,Control,andLaboratoryUse;Part1:GeneralRequirements,6)FireProtectionforLaboratoriesUsingChemicals,NFPA45,and7)HealthCareFacilities,NFPA99;d)UnitsintendedforuseincommercialgaragesshallcomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsofArticle511oftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70,andoftheStandardforGarageEquipment,UL201;e)UnitsintendedforuseinaircrafthangarsshallcomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsofArticle513oftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70;andf)UnitsintendedforuseindispensingandservicestationsshallcomplywiththeapplicablerequirementsofArticle514oftheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70.1.7Theserequirementsdonotapplyto:a)Carbon-bedunits;b)Unitsintendedtobeinstalledoutdoors;c)Unitsusedtodistillsolventsclassifiedasunstableorsolventsusedfornitrocelluloseorotherunstablereactives;d)Unitsintendedforhighvolumedistillationprocessesorequipmenttypicalofthepetrochemicalordistilledspiritsindustries;e)Thestorage,use,anddisposalofanyflammableorcombustibleliquidsorhazardousmaterialsusedwithorproducedbytheequipment;orf)Thephysiologicaleffectsofusingtheequipmentwithsolventsorhazardouswaste.
