【摘要】:Manytypesofprintedmatter,notablycontainerlabels,packagingmaterials,magazineandbookcovers,mustberesistanttoliquidmaterialsthatmaycontactthemadvertentlyorinadvertently.Thistestmethodpermitsanassessmentofresistanceofprintedmattertoseveraltypesofliquids.Therequirementthatareferenceprintberunatthesametimeasthetestprintminimizeseffectsofatmosphericconditions(humidityandtemperature)andothervariationswhichmaydevelop.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminewhethernewformulationsaresuitablefortheend-usepurposeandforspecificationacceptancebetweenproduceranduser.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationoftherelativeresistanceofprintedmattertoliquidchemicals,asevidencedbylackofdiscoloration,bleeding,orlossofgloss.1.2ThistestmethodutilizesasandwichproceduresimilarinprincipletoISO/TC130N589.SpottingorimmersionproceduresarecoveredinTestMethodsD1308,D1647,andD2248.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicabletoprintsonanyflatsubstrateincludingpaper,paperboard,metallicfoil,metalplate,andplasticfilms,andproducedbyanyprintingprocessincludingletterpress,offsetlithography,flexography,gravure,silkscreen,andnon-impact.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
