【摘要】:Benzeneisclassedasatoxicmaterial.Aknowledgeoftheconcentrationofthiscompoundmaybeanaidinevaluatingthepossiblehealthhazardtopersonshandlingandusingthegasoline.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoevaluatesuchhazards.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepercentbenzeneinfull-rangegasoline.Itisapplicabletoconcentrationsfrom0.1%to5volume%.1.2Thistestmethodhasnotbeenvalidatedforgasolinescontainingoxygenates.Certainoxygenatesinterferewiththemeasurementdescribedinthistestmethod.TestMethodD6277isrecommendedforgasolinescontainingoxygenates.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,seeSection8and9.1.
