This standard is based on the Arithmetical Average (AA) method of instrumentation. Data compiled are based on current manufacturing practices. 【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforwhirlpoolbaths,havingaratedvoltageofnotmorethan250Vforsinglephaseappliancesand480Vforotherappliances,whichareintendedtobeinstalledinindoordomesticsituationsandusedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer'sinstructionsforpersonalhygiene.SuchwhirlpoolbathsaretestedandsupplpliedasacompleteindependentunitdesignedtobedraineddownaftereveryuseTheymaybetransportedinseveralseparateparts,forassemblyonsite,tofacilitatedelivery.SafetyaspectsofWhirlpoolbaths(exceptusebyyoungchildrenandslowmoving/weakelderlyordisabledindividuals)arecoveredbyEN60335-2-60.Exclusions:thisstandarddoesnotcoveradditionalrequirementsforwhirlpoolbathsintendedforuseswherespecificmedicalprovisionsarerequired,orwhirlpoolbathsforcommunaluseswheretheyarenotdraineddownaftereveryuse.Portablewhirlpooldevicesarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Forthepurposesofthisstandardtheterm'domesticsituations'includesuseinhotels,accommodationforstudents,hospitalsandsimilarbuildings.Warning:Slowmovingelderlyordisabledpersonsshouldtakecarewhenusingwhirlpoolbaths.Youngchildrenshouldnotbeallowedtousewhirlpoolbathswithoutsupervision.NOTE1Itisunrealistictoexpectmanufacturerstoprovideadefinitionofwhatconstitutesa'slowmovingelderlyordisabledperson',or'youngchildren'.Theformeristheresponsibilityoftheindividualoracareer.Thelatter,isaparentalresponsibility.NOTE2WhenEN60335-2-60isamendedtocoveruseofwhirlpoolbathsbyslowmovingelderlyordisabledpersonsandyoungchildrenthewarninggivenabovewillbedeletedfromthisstandard.
