【摘要】:Moisturepermeatingfromconcretefloorslabsaffectstheperformanceofflooringsystemssuchasresilientandtextilefloorcoveringsandcoatings.Manufacturersofsuchsystemsgenerallyrequiremoisturetestingtobeperformedbeforeinstallationonconcrete.Internalrelativehumiditytestingisonesuchmethod.Excessivemoisturepermeatingfromfloorslabsafterinstallationcancausefloorcoveringsystemfailuressuchasdebondinganddeteriorationoffinishflooringandcoatingsandmicrobialgrowth.Moisturetestresultsindicatethemoistureconditionoftheslabonlyatthetimeofthetest.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofpercentrelativehumidityinconcreteslabsforfieldorlaboratorytests.1.2Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificwarningsaregiveninSection7,10.3.2,and10.4.4.
